Gaudí BCN Projects promotes Gaudí, his work and Barcelona around the world.

Gaudí 1st World Congress Barcelona 2014

Organized by The Gaudí Research Institute (TGRI) and the Universitat de Barcelona and produced by Gaudí BCN Projects, the event took place in Barcelona from 6 to 10 October 2014.

It was the first congress dedicated exclusively to research on the life and work of Antoni Gaudí, with a comprehensive focus based on the numerous areas the universal genius addressed throughout his life.

The top worldwide specialists presented, for the first time, their recent discoveries as well as those amassed over decades of research and development.

 300 attendees

40 speakers from Spain and abroad

Over 25 countries represented

The Gaudí 1st World Congress Barcelona 2014 was the first edition of a program of six biennial research congresses, each of them focused on one or more works by Antoni Gaudí, although not exclusively. The first edition was focused on studies conducted around the crypt of Colònia Güell in Santa Coloma de Cervelló.
